Haven Point is a fantastic, family friendly leisure complex and is located in a central position on South Shields Seafront.
Pools and leisure waters
The leisure facility boasts an impressive 25m pool where older children, couples and families can perfect their swimming, an 18m learning pool for the younger members of the family to learn to swim, be adventurous and race down the water slides or play with friends and family in the leisure waters and bubble sprays.

Impressive artwork
The leisure facility is worth a look alone for its impressive artwork by Michelle Castles.
The life-size sculpture's show a man displaying the effortless grace of diving into the water doing butterfly stroke and is the inspiration of 'Wavemaker'. The art hangs from the ceiling in the entrance way.
Gym and fitness classes
For those who are staying slightly longer and don't want to miss out on any exercise then Haven Point has an impressive gym with state-of-the-art equipment and two dance studios for a variety of dance and exercise classes.
